Why this blogg...

     All my life I have been a large person, and being large [my maxium weight was 596 pounds], I have seen and experienced being a fat person in a skinny world. So with all this said I would like to share my experiences with you all, not only the bad ones but the great and even awesome ones. From Church to Restaurants and everything in between I would like to encourage, complain and sometimes even rant about people, places and things. 

     I was going to call this blogg the Madd Rantings of a fat old lady in Jesus but I already have that one going. So forgive me [http://www.elahthehouseofgodministries.org/bigg-momma-speaks.html, a shameful graditutious plug here]. But with this I would like it to be more whimsical and personal. I may even share my excommunication with the same church 3 times. NOW THAT might be interesting but not now.

     I am a Christain, I am old, I am fat and proud of all three. I have been married to the same man for 25 years and I have 3 children [all of them a blessing and they all make me laugh]. I have 5 cats [that is another blogg too], and in my life I have seen some of the strangest things and have experienced the difference of being OH GOD it is MOVING towards me with my wait [Non-acceptable obesity other wise know as MORBID OBESITY] to what the world looks at as an "EXCEPTABLE" fat weight. Now don't get me wrong, people still feel the need to explain to me that being obese [I perfer FAT] is not good for my health and how it will take years away from my life or maybe even frown at me when I go to a grocery store and buy a bag of Oreos. Hey I'm married and Hubby likes them too.

      I am going to have a FAT LADY SCALE to rate the places I go and where they treat you like a human being. [there are those occassions where some people feel they have the right to ridicule, be rude and act like I'm not even human].  

     So good, bad, ugly or indifferent I would like to take you all on journey, like Willy Wonka said: "Come with me, and you'll be, in a world of pure imagination. Take a look and you'll see into your imagination. We'll begin with a spin traveling in the world of my creation. What we'll see will defy explanation [From the song Pure Imagination].
